To Vaccinate or Not to Vaccinate; That is the Question - Part II

Last week we looked at how RNA— specifically natural mRNA—normally works in the body. This week, I will give a brief overview of what I have learned about how the synthetic mRNA works in the two coronavirus vaccines that use this form of genetic technology.

First, we must acknowledge that this modified and synthesized form of RNA, which is foreign to our bodies, must reverse the natural process that I outlined last week. You see, rather than exiting the nucleus into the cytoplasm of the cell, this synthetic form of mRNA must instead enter the cell from outside of the cell’s exterior barrier wall, the cell membrane.

Researchers accomplished this by adding a lipid (fancy way of saying fat) nanoparticle coating to the mRNA. This modification allows the mRNA particle to meld with the phospholipid layer (which surrounds every cell in our body) and pass through this “cell membrane” into the cytoplasm.

The process of “protein synthesis” that occurs naturally in every cell is reversed in such a way that it forces the cells to manufacture a protein against the spike protein of the Covid-19 virus. The spike protein is the “novel” aspect of this specific coronavirus. The mRNA carries the code for specifically needed proteins in order to meet the requirements of the cell and, on a larger scale, the needs of the body. Once again, in the synthetic process, instead of coming out of the nucleus of the cell into the cytoplasm, the process of protein generation is reversed. The spike protein mRNA is forced into the cell, bypassing the nucleus (brain) of the cell and going directly into the cytoplasm (body) of the cell.

OVERRIDING FEEDBACK

Communication is also different in this synthetic mRNA process. Normally the cell’s synthesis process in this protein-manufacturing procedure would have a negative feedback loop. In other words, as your cell produces the protein there is a sort of “meter” that measures the amount of protein produced. Once sufficient quantities have been generated, the production is shut down, thereby controlling the concentration of the product. With the inoculations using synthetic mRNA, this feedback loop is altered. The normal regulatory process in production of a specific protein is overridden.

Further, we need to keep in mind that the quantity of specific proteins produced by different cells varies. Some specific cells generate large quantities and others turn out smaller amounts. For example, cells in glands may routinely produce immense quantities of proteins, which act as hormones, whereas other cells have far lower demands on them to produce proteins and enzymes. Once again, the synthetic mRNA inoculation overrides this cellular-specific production.

THE TROUBLE WITH FORCED ENTRY

There are a few other alterations to consider with the administration of synthetic mRNA into the body. First, there is indiscriminate entry of the mRNA into the cells. In other words, cells that normally have a low production rate may be called upon to produce much greater quantities of antibody-stimulating proteins than normal. Second, the synthetic mRNA entering into the cells from outside of the cell is supplanting the normal protein synthesis process of the cell. It is preempting, so to speak, the normal processes in the cell.

WHAT'S IN IT?

Another point of interest: what else is contained in the vaccine? Many simply overlook this, as was clarified in a recent patient interaction. The patient was a schoolteacher. She noted that she has many coworkers who are extremely careful about what they consume. She stated that many of them eat organic food and also try not to use any hygiene or cleaning products that contain toxic substances. She also said, however, that none of them had questioned what was in the new mRNA vaccines.

In order to address her question, I searched to see if I could find the adjuvants (other substances) in this category of vaccines. These adjuvants are used to preserve and stabilize the vaccine.

Here is a list of some of the other substances contained in the mRNA vaccine. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lists these additional ingredients as:

  • lipids ((4-hydroxybutyl)azanediyl)bis(hexane-6,1-diyl)bis(2- hexyldecanoate), 2-[(polyethylene glycol)-2000]-N,N-ditetradecylacetamide, 1,2-distearoyl-snglycero-3-phosphocholine, and cholesterol)
  • potassium chloride
  • monobasic potassium phosphate
  • sodium chloride
  • dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate
  • sucrose.

The polyethylene glycol listed above is used to stabilize the lipid layer placed around the mRNA. This is a substance that may have caught your eye. It is actually a petroleum product that is used in many pharmaceuticals as a preservative/stabilizer. It is also used as a less toxic alternative to traditional antifreeze. (Read a previous article on the topic by clicking here.) Obviously, you are receiving much smaller quantities in the vaccine. I just felt that, since we are reviewing the specifics of these vaccines, it would be helpful to see the other contents.

I want to once again remind our readers that I am not here to promote or denigrate this new form of vaccine. I simply wish to clarify what it is, how it works, and shed some light on what the research has shown.

Thank you for taking the time to read this information I have found. Until next week, I hope that you will delve further to learn more. If you do, I urge you: take the time to check the references and credibility of the source. There are many self-proclaimed "experts" out there! Use common sense, and understand that the vaccine is not intended to keep you from getting Covid-19, but as the manufacturers state, reduce the symptoms if you do.

Here are three, manufacturer-specific fact sheets to get you started:

COMING UP...

Next week I will discuss some thoughts from vaccine researchers and other experts in the field of immunology about this form of inoculation. mRNA genetic drugs have been studied for decades. They have been researched in order to treat various different types of viral infections. However, the FDA has never approved them for general use on the population, because they have never passed required FDA testing. In that regard, it is important for us to remember that this type of vaccine has only been approved by the FDA for “Emergency Use” due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In later additions to this series, I will be with the advantage of hindsight in reviewing some of the things that we did that were right and some of the things that we did that were wrong.
