My New Year's Resolution for You

~~
You know, it's hard to believe but here we are again. Another year is about to end, and many of us will look back on our goals and dreams for the last year with anxiety, dismay, and perhaps some disappointment. Some may feel that they need to lick their wounds, and still others will want to ignore their failed attempts at moving further ahead with their lives. I want to encourage everyone whether you feel that you hit the mark, or if you need to try again, to take heed in the following thought from Monica Kazmier; "Life's garden is filled with seeds of success. Failures are simply fertilizer for the soil."

That's right, what may have appeared to be a "failure" this past year, may have simply been a "learning experience" for you. This year it is time to reset your sails and apply what you have learned. It is time to retool, refit, and start fresh. That's the nice thing about replacing the calendar, there is no silent reminder of the past, just the future. Oh, of course we must be aware of our past experiences, and adjust as we make our next approach, but we must not dwell on them.

Yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is a dream, but today creates our destiny. Don't waste any of it! Take full advantage of the Blessing of the seconds, minutes, and hours that you have once again been given. Soon they will vanish into days, weeks, and months once again. If you are not careful, before you know it we will be here once again looking back.

You can make your dreams, wishes, hopes, and desires become your reality. All you need to do is make a plan, work the plan, and never give up. Every reality that we have today began as a dream. Don't let yours be wasted.

I wish each and every one of you success in your pursuits this coming year. And as always I wish you continued Health and Happiness!

Dr. Pfeiffer's "Think Right"

A word of encouragement during failure is worth more than a dictionary of praise following success.
